My plan for this is to stay as anonymous as I possible can but it would be rude for me to not tell you at least a little bit about me.

So... Hi, I'm Charlie.

I'm 17 and am in college studying History, English language and Psychology. No I cannot read what you are thinking. Yes I have been asked that numerous times before.

I'm afraid that's all I'm going to give you about myself at the moment, I feel as though this needs to be kept from people I actually know. I need a place to put my feelings and thought out there and keep it separate from my 'real life'.

I sure you are wondering about why this is called Life of a Teenage Fangirl. Well, I'm a self confessed fangirl. I'm sick of having to keep all these "fangirl feelings" bottled up because quite frankly my friends don't really give a crap so this is going to be my outlet.

Of course, I won't just speak about One Direction, McFly, the woes of being a Jonas fan right now. I also plan to bore you with my mundane life ;)

As well as having a slight obsession (yes that is an understatement) with these kind of bands, I also enjoy spending my free time on YouTube watching people such as Zoella, Tyler Oakley, PointlessBlog, Marcus Butler, Joe Sugg, Mazzi Maz, danisnotonfire, AmazingPhil... The list can and will go on. I'm not going to lie to you, I feel as though these youtubers have helped me in so many ways. When I'm feeling down, like when I didn't get incredible AS results, I turned to the videos they had published and it made me smile. Zoella's "just say yes" has shown me that yes I can and should do something because I want to and not be held back because someone disagrees with me. 

Can you tell I have no idea what I'm doing here? :D

I'm not going to be one of those people who promises to update at a certain time. I will try my best. I doubt anyone is even going to read this so really it's just for myself and to keep me sane ;)

So I think it time to just jump into it. Dive in head first and hope for the best. So this is me. And this is the boring bit out of the way, now enjoy this picture of Niall Horan in a mankini :)
